There's some pretty preposterous stuff happening these days. I know that a sandwich isn't as honorable as a Navy ship, but I'd like to think that we can at least restore a little bit of honor to such a legendary figure.
So, our special today (and probably this weekend too) is THE HARVEY. We snagged some of the last local Louisiana strawberries and Nate cooked em down with some Serrano peppers to make a spicy strawberry jam. We're combining it with our house roasted turkey, cucumbers, havarti cheese (it's fresh mozz in the photo but we all agreed that the havarti tasted better), and arugula in lemon Dijon vinaigrette. It's super fresh and light with a definite spicy kick.
